About Our Founders
RMC Research was founded in 1966 and was purchased by Dr. Everett Barnes and M. Christine Dwyer in 1985. Both are responsible for RMC Research’s operations as principal owners, corporate officers, and members of the Board of Directors. RMC Research’s founders have dedicated their careers to using research findings and public policy to improve educational opportunities for all children and families.
Everett Barnes
began his career as an educator and principal. He holds a Master of Arts degree in Education Administration from the University of New Hampshire an Ed.D. from the University of Massachusetts.
Chris Dwyer
has an academic background in political science and early childhood education and holds degrees from Mount Holyoke College and the University of New Hampshire.
