RMC Research conducted a study for the Douglas County (CO) School District of the use of teacher time, focusing on non-instructional activities such as planning, professional development, test administration, committee work, and other duties. Using a districtwide teacher survey, the study documented the nature of time use, the amount of time spent on various activities, and the perceived value of the time spent. RMC Research also conducted a study of the use of district time for responding to School Board requests. Both projects had advisory groups and used surveys and logs.
