Upcoming Presentations on REL Central Study of Field Experiences in Teacher Preparation

RMC Research staff members will present at two upcoming conferences about new REL Central research on the topic of field experiences in teacher preparation programs. Stephen Meyer will present at the Society for Research on Educational Effectiveness (SREE) conference in Washington, DC (https://www.sree.org/conferences/2016s/). The March 5, 2016 presentation is part of a symposium entitled Studying Educator Effectiveness through Researcher Practitioner Partnerships and will focus on how research alliance members were engaged in a statewide study of first-year teachers. Later in March, Stephen Meyer and Emma Espel will present at the Council for Accreditation of Teacher Preparation conference in San Diego (http://caepnet.org/about/2016-spring-caepcon). This presentation takes place on March 25 and will focus on the use of local survey data for monitoring and improving the implementation of student teaching and field experiences and will feature representatives from Lindenwood University in Missouri who will discuss how they have used data from the REL Central study.
