Diagnostic reviews of the New America Schools’

RMC Research recently completed diagnostic reviews of the New America Schools’ Thornton and Lakewood campuses. Both schools serve traditional alternative education students and “opportunity” students who had dropped out and decided to return to get their high school diplomas. These schools have shown good growth scores, but are not yet reaching the proficiency levels expected by the state, so they are working hard to implement a set of effective instructional strategies that should produce a higher yield for their hard-working staff and students. RMC is helping them to conduct a deep data dive, identify a set of instructional strategies designed to improve engagement, attendance, and performance, and reach their ambitious goals.
