The Junior Achievement (JA) Finance Park® program is JA USA’s capstone financial literacy program for middle and high school students, in which students learn about income, taxes, spending, investing, credit, and budgeting. The program culminates in a day-long budgeting simulation in which students receive a randomly-selected life profile for which they must develop and follow a budget under realistic constraints. RMC Research conducted a national outcome evaluation of the JA Finance Park® program at 11 sites around the United States using a pre/post non-equivalent comparison group quasi-experimental design, along with perception surveys, interviews, focus groups, and local implementation case studies.
