Trudy Hensley is a Vice President at RMC Research Corporation and is responsible for managing and directing the projects and contracts of the Tampa, Florida office. She has served as Principal Investigator or Co-Investigator for a number of research and evaluation projects and is the manager of the Improving Schools in Mississippi Research Alliance for the Regional Educational Laboratory Southeast.
She has coordinated and managed national and regional research and technical assistance projects in every state in the southeast and territories including Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Her work has centered on conducting research and providing professional development training and technical assistance in the areas of federal program implementation, school improvement, and literacy.
Previously, Trudy was a program director at Educational Testing Service. Prior to her work on the national level, her public school experiences spanned every level from teacher to Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment.
Trudy earned a Bachelor of Science degree with highest honors in elementary education from Georgia Southwestern University. She earned a Master of Education degree as a reading specialist and went on to earn a Doctorate of Education in educational administration from the University of Georgia. Post-doctoral studies include research and evaluation.
